When checking your dog’s measurements, it’ s important it’s done correctly to ensure a good fit. For collars, figure out where you want the collar to sit, measure that spot, but be sure it’s a snug measurement! Their weight can fluctuate from day to day from exercise, eating, etc. Giving a tight measurement means the extra wiggle room is sure to make the fit work whether they’re down or up a few pounds from the time of the measurement. If you’re unsure or inbetween sizes round up or down according to the measurement. (Example: tight measurement is 11 1/4 inches, round down to 11 inches; tight measurement is 18 3/4 inches, round up to 19 inches.)
How To Measure
Measurements start on collars where the Biothane® starts, not where the hardware starts. The measurement given is always going to be the middle hole. The measurement given here was 10 inches
